Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter has yet again reignited his escalating war of words with Deputy President William Ruto, this time accusing him of insincerity over a number of contemporary issues.
On his Twitter, Keter wondered why Dr Ruto would tell the nation that no life has been lost over hunger in some parts of the country, despite media reports that have been accompanied by gory images from Northern part of the country.
"Oooh!! it is not 21B,it is just 7B. Oooh!! DCI mandate is to deal with pickpocketing not us economic criminals. Oooh!! nobody lost life over hunger the situation is okay. Oooh!! Blah....blah...Bullshit!!! Please give us a break my friend you are a disgrace," wrote Keter.
On Monday, Dr Ruto, in the company of several ministers, insisted that nobody has died of hunger, adding that the cases on media could not be verified so far by the government.
But Keter, a rebel Jubilee legilator, also fired at Ruto over Sh21 billion scandal in construction of Kimwarer and Arror dams, adding that Dr Ruto and his team had shifted guns to Elgeyo-Marakwet Governor Alex Tolgos after the governor seemed to distance himself from them.
"The beneficiaries of the Dam’s scandal have officially owned up during a fundraiser at Sambirir girls in Marakwet which was presided over by the High priest of corruption himself. They attacked Governor Tolgos for exposing them," he argued.
Mr Keter, Silas Tiren of Moiben and Joshua Kutuny of Cherangany have been leading onslaught against Ruto, who they accuse of not doing enough to uplift the livelihoods of Kalenjin community.
The DP has also been in the frontline accusing the DCI George Kinoti of allegedly being used by certain political operatives to ruin his 2022 chances.
