A good percentage of Kenyan women have been lamenting about being neglected by men who fathered their children.
With thousands of deadbeat fathers in the country, Boniface Murage deserves the award of the father of the year for his step of courage and undying love for his daughter.
After sitting down and figuring out how he could help his wife and child who had been held at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) over Sh56,000 hospital bill, Murage thought of the weirdest way to handle the matter.
The man who hails from Rongai has now become the hero of the week after he attempted to sneak out his child only to be arrested before he could walk out of the hospital.
Murage put the child in a bag and tried to sneak from the facility, but his effort proved futile.
In an interview with KTN, Murage revealed that he truly loves his family and he was ready to do anything, yes anything to save his ailing child.
“I was stranded of what I could do to get that amount of money to rescue my daughter from the hospital. I told my wife to put the child in the bag because she had been at the facility for more than four weeks," he narrated remorsefully to KTN Reporter.
Murage is now a happy man after Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko came to his rescue.
Here's the story as he narrated to KTN reporter.
