A top Jubilee Party campaigner and a close ally of Deputy President William Ruto, is mourning the death of his mother which happened on Wednesday.
Mr Patrick Osero, a perennial aspiring Borabu MP lost his mother Peninah Osero at Mater Hospital, barely a month after losing his mother-in-law.
At Borabu Watchtower, leaders and residents joined Mr Osero in mourning his mother with various MCAs leading the pack.
"I am deeply shocked with the loss. Osero buried his mother-in-law the other day and it's sad that he has lost his mother. I wish his family God's confort at this time," wrote Carol Mogere, ODM nominated MCA.
Another MCA, Irene Sese added: "Very sad that he has lost the mother after a long struggle. We hope that he will find strength at this trying moment."
Mrs Osero has been undergoing treatment at Mater Hospital and her health could not allow her to attend funeral to Patrick Osero's mother-in-law last month, few days to Christmas.
During Jubilee campaigns in Gusii, Mr Osero, formally in ODM, played an integral role in mobilization and strategy. He's a close confidant of Ruto and was adversely mentioned in Lang'ata Primary land saga.
For two consecutive elections, Osero, popularly known as Naomi due to his political resilience, has lost narrowly to Ben Momanyi, a Wiper politician.
