Speaking in Nakuru on Friday during public sensitization forum on various government funds meant to empower women, youth and marginalized groups, Kihika said President Uhuru Kenyatta needs support on the agenda.

The senator called on leaders to also empower the electorates.

“We have so many funds for women, youths and marginalized but when I go around the county I get that they have no information. It is now high time we move to the grass root to ensure we assist the President and his deputy in achieving the Big 4 agenda,” said Kihika.

She called on the county government to ensure timely payment to all those who transact with it.

“Public funds must be used on the right projects and which are a priority to the county. As Senator I will not sit down until I see the whole process running smoothly and let me also call on you public that you should show up during public participation,” said Kihika.

Youths were also urged to acquire skills through technical training.

“Let us also help our youths to join the technical training which will help big in the manufacturing sector,” said Kihika.
