Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna is well known to speak out his mind without fear. He is known for his resilient character which is clearly seen in the recent run-ins with the government over his deportation to Canada.
Miguna has for the second time corrected Siaya Senator James Orengo on twitter. In the past, Migina guided Orengo over 'bad English'. He was responding to a tweet made by the vocal lawyer in which he used His Excellency and Right Honourable abbreviations to address opposition leader Raila Odinga.
Orengo was in the company of Raila, Mama Ida Odinga and Dr.Oburu Oginga. The four leaders joined christians at ACK St.Peter's Nyamira during Christmas service on Tuesday.
"H. E. The Rt. Hon Raila Odinga, Mama Ida Odinga, Dr. Oburu Oginga and I joined Christians for Christmas Service at the ACK St. Peter's Nyamira Parish in Bondo. We encouraged them to spread peace, love and unity during this festive season. We wish you all a merry Christmas," he tweeted.
Miguna quickly told Orengo that the two titles are not used to address one person at the same time. He further stated that the two honourific titles cannot be used in one to the same person because no one can occupy both symbolic offices at the same time.
"Senior Counsel, you are embarrassing yourself. Make up your mind whether Raila Odinga is "His Excellency" or "The Right Honourable." You cannot use both honourifics in one sentence in reference to the same person because no one can occupy both symbolic offices at the same time." Miguna tweeted.
