At first glance, Joyce Britney Njoki Kangethe alias Nancy would easily pass for an innocent pretty lady who would turn heads on the streets of Nairobi.
However, Nancy who resides in Nairobi’s Donholm Harambee Sacco estate has been accused of drugging and stealing from unsuspecting revellers.
The woman, who is believed to be the gang leader belongs to a group of thugs that have been robbing and terrorising revellers mainly in Kisumu, Nakuru, Diani, Nairobi and Mombasa.
Nancy is always in the company of her female accomplices who look innocent, and men are mostly unaware of the trap that awaits them.
The gang hangs around popular clubs and target high-class men who are loaded with money.
The police say the group after spotting their target in various nightclubs, drug and rob them after reaching their houses.
The group targets phones, laptops and ATM cards where they transfer money and withdraw at agents.
According to tuko.co.ke, Nancy was recently arrested by the police after she stole from a senior government official.
She is currently being sought for skipping bail after being arrested and released on bail at Kiambu Police Station.
