At the requiem mass of Jane Kiano in St Francis ACK at Karen on Friday, Raila only recognised Uhuru in his speech before generalising other participants, after which he launched a scathing attack on Ruto.

On his Twitter, Raila yet again, put the photo of him and President Uhuru Kenyatta, besides tagging only the president, another indicate that his brawl with Ruto is yet to be exhausted.

He wrote: "Joined other Kenyans at ACK St. Francis Church, Karen for the memorial service of former Maendeleo ya Wanawake Chair, the late Jane Kiano who was a great Kenyan patriot who contributed immensely to national development. May her soul rest in eternal peace. | @UKenyatta."https://twitter.com/RailaOdinga/status/1058311333454721024?s=19.

And while addressing the congregation, Raila ignited the debate about dynasties, which is often used by DP Ruto's supporters and campaigners.

In his hard tackling speech, Raila dismissed the Ruto's hustler tag, adding that even President Uhuru Kenyatta and himself 'worked hard to shine in the country's politics'.

"Jomo Kenyatta was a son of a pauper. He struggled [and] was detained by the colonialists for all those years. Because of that, you cannot say Uhuru is part of a dynasty. Odinga, son of Raila, was just a pauper. You would say he was just a hustler. You cannot, therefore, say that Raila is a product of a dynasty," he said, insisting that they should be judged individually.

While Mr. Odinga is the son to Kenya's first Vice President Jaramogi Oginga Odinga, Uhuru is the son of Founding President Jomo Kenyatta.

The March 9th handshake between the duo has elicited political emotions with Ruto's camp claiming that Odinga is using it to topple him from Jubilee party.

At Nyeri on Thursday, a furious Uhuru seemingly warned leaders inclined to his deputy against persistent politicking.

"Work for these people. Stop loitering around. When time comes, I will guide you on the direction to take. I am still in charge, don't take my silence for granted," he said.

Despite snubbing Ruto on twitter in the church event, the two leaders however greeted each other. Jane Kiano is the wife to former powerful minister Gikonyo Kiano.
