In the wake of Harambee Stars' perfect win against Ethiopia on Sunday, one of the team's former star Noah Ayuko is a man in dire need.
A photo of the former Harambee Stars and Ulinzi custodian surfaced online, showing a shadow of one of Kenya's brilliant keepers.
Ayuko is undergoing lean financial times, which has been made worse with struggles with alcohol and needs quick intervention to get back on his feet.
in 2017, a former teammate with the national team Bonny Ambani organized a fund drive to aid the keeper, but they did not contribute much for the course.
“..our brother Ayuko needs quick help because alcohol is also destroying him. He is having a lot of financial trouble. Ball iliisha, job iliisha (his footballing career ended and he is not employed), so survival has become difficult. He is in a bad state and affording a meal has become a problem," he said as quoted by the Standard.
