Two middle aged men were forced to run for their dear lives after they were caught raping a cow in at Esise.

Confirming the incident, area police boss Timothy Mwasia said the suspects, Edwin Omwoyo and Duncan Morara have since gone into hideout.

"Machoka went to check on his cow at the grazing field only to find the cow missing. He traced it into a nearby bush where he caught the two raping the cow," said Mwasia.

Mwasia said Machoka raised an alarm prompting the suspects to flee from the scene.  

"Efforts by members of the public to chase after the suspects didn't bore fruits," he said.

The police boss urged residents to be vigilant and ensure they don't take cows for grazing to far areas from home.
