The 'Mighty Prophet of the Lord' as many of his followers refer him to during his preachings warned Kenyans to be wary on the emergence of false prophets.

“Be weary and cautious of the false prophets in this town. All they do is to dupe you and take your money. When they tell you to give them money, resist and to them say get behind me satan,” said Dr.Owuor.

Eldoret locals expressed mixed reactions to the miracles and the statement.

These are some of their reactions:

Lawrence Kaulu - "The Bible says do not speak ills over the prophet of God, and if there is anything wrong he's doing, it's upon him and his God!."

Anto Koech - "Hahaha let him go to MTRH and heal the real sick people there, people who need true healing, hii ingine ni drama tuu."

Mercury Sugar - "How much did he con you? Let me know then I pay you back in seconds."

Linah Chepkebin - "Tengenezeni njia Yesu yuaja."

Ken Kihato - "Afadhali Owuor others are known criminals na mnawajua na kuwaabudu. Judge not."

Allan Kipwogen - "My brethren if you don't have time to your bibles, what else do u expect. And not yet. 2nd Timothy is very clear about these end times."

Merry Chepchumba - "You must stop this madness. Whether you don't believe or you believe, God's work does not need humans approval."

Collins Kibet - "A real false prophet... If u are a keen reader of the Bible, definitely u know what am saying."

Boniface Kiplangat - "And to those saying aende hospitali, Jesus himself didn't go there. Whoever wanted to be healed followed him. It's all about faith."
