Speaking during an interview on Iqra FM on Tuesday, Mutua claimed Kenyatta owes him.

"I supported President Uhuru in 2013 and 2017 for presidency. It is time he should support and endorse me for the presidency,” Mutua said.

Mutua said he supported the president as an individual and not Jubilee party.

“I didn’t support Jubilee party but, Uhuru. Those asking me to support DP William Ruto should know I owe Ruto nothing I will not support him since 2022 will be my time to become the 5th President of Kenya,” Mutua said.

He said Ukambani voters are ready to send him to State House.

Mutua said this has pushed him much to vie for the presidency in 2022.

The Maendeleo Chap Chap party leader lauded Kenyatta’s efforts in fighting corruption in the country.

Mutua said all houses constructed on riparian and grabbed public lands should be demolished without favoring anyone.

“Uhuru should not look back in the fight against corruption. Even if his close friends and relatives have engaged in dubious dealings, the law must apply across,” he said.
