Deputy President William Ruto has arrived at Nyanchwa in Kisii County a head of a Church service.

After the church service, Dr Ruto is expected to preside over a 'sadaka maalum' contributions to support in building our Seventh Day Adventist Church Southern Kenya conference offices.
Among the top leaders from Gusii region who turned up to welcome DP Ruto include Kitutu Masaba MP Shadrack Mose, Nyaribari Chache MP Richard Tong'i, Kisii County Deputy Governor Joash Maangi, several church leaders and security bosses.

The function is expected to be political given that DP Ruto and his close allies has been talking tough over the ongoing graft war.
Ruto's trip comes barely a week after he was hosted by South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro in Tabaka.

He is focused to ensure he traverses the vote rich region to persuade residents to vote for him in 2022 when he will be running for presidency.
Kisii and Nyamira counties are however, perceived to be opposition stronghold given that residents in the two counties have been overwhelmingly voting for the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
