Gor Mahia is ready to tackle Nzoia Sugar in their 16th Kenya Premier League match at Moi Stadium, Kisumu.Gor camped at the lakeside city after beating Wazito in the last league match five days ago and head coach Dylan Kerr has admitted the team's readiness for the match. His sentiments were shared by his captain Harun Shakava.
“The atmosphere has been excellent… players training very hard to be ready for a tough game,” Kerr told the official club website.Shakava has cautioned his teammates not to take with reluctance. He affirms that Gor has had enough preparations for the tricky tie.
“Sunday's game will not be an easy one and we will handle it with the seriousness it deserves. We have done our preparation well and we are very much ready for the task,” said Shakava.
Nzoia faces the prospect of playing against three of their former stars who did join Gor after stints at the Bungoma based club. Lawrence Juma joined the defending champions this year where he linked with Joachim Oluoch and Boniface Omondi, former Miller's aces.
