Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji has finally released the list of persons to be charged in a court of law over the cold-blood murder of Sharon Otieno.
In a press statement posted on his official Twitter handle, Haji mentioned Governor Okoth Obado, Michael Oyamo, and Caspal Ojwang Obiero.
Governor Oyamo and Caspal Obiero will be charged with aiding and abetting murder while Michael Oyamo will be charged with murder.
The three suspects in the murder of the Rongo University student were arrested and put behind bars ahead of their prosecution.
Mr Obado has vehemently denied any involvement in Sharon's death.
Haji had warned at the start of the investigations that no one would be spared even if they were the governor of a county.
