Mutua is one of the most vocal county bosses in the country.

He is known for his eloquence and progressive ideologies.

When Mutua left Wiper to form Maendeleo Chap Chap Movement, many people thought his career was over until he gave former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti a tough moment when she wanted to unseat him.

Mutua was brought up in Kibera slums.

He was born in Makina before the family relocated to the slums.

His early life was full of all sorts of challenges.

The governor has a sister called Ann.  However, there is little information about her.

“I have a sister called Ann. I was born in Machakos, but I grew up in Makina area, Kibera slums in Nairobi. My parents were poor civil servants,” Mutua said.

Mutua has promised to change this country if he is elected the President.

He believes he is the perfect candidate to stir economic development in this nation.

The Maendeleo Chap Chap party leader is expected to lock horns with Deputy President William Ruto in 2022 polls if his word is anything to go by.

The governor, however, still has an election petition pending in court after Ndeti won the case at the Court of Appeal.
