A Kenyan Hamisi Zuma Madilo who was missing after being arrested by Tanzanian security officers at Horo Horo, along the Kenya - Tanzania border in Kwale County has finally been found.
Confirming the incident, Coast-based rights group Haki Africa said Hamisi was cleared at the border by Tanzania's immigration officials just before Friday midnight.
"HAKI Africa can confirm that finally we have Hamisi Zuma Mwadilo back in the country. After days of following up which included our Executive Director being briefly detained by Tanzania's immigration officials, Hamisi is now back in Kenya," said the organisation in a statement.
Hamisi who graduated from University of Nairobi in 2017 and married to 8 months pregnant wife, went missing in a case of mistaken identity.

Haki Africa Executive Director Hussein Khalid ensured he is reunited with the family, saying the case is now being handled by the two governments to ascertain why there was a mistaken identity.
According to Khalid, Foreign Affairs Cabinet Monica Juma, Kenya's Ambassador to Tanzania Dan Kazungu and Attaché Habiba Seby worked tirelessly to secure the release of Hamisi who went missing on December 30.
"HAKI Africa is grateful to CS Monica Juma, Amb Dan Kazungu and Attaché Habiba Seby who worked tirelessly and professionally to secure the release of Hamisi. We also thank Kenya's border officials at Lunga Lunga including the head of immigration, the OCS and his Deputy."
