Majority leader Aden Duale is among the few highly successful politicians in Kenya with a strong professional training in Teaching and Education.
Prior to joining, the Garissa Township MP was once a teacher registered and employed by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) as a graduate teacher.
However, what many do not know are his teaching subjects as approved by the teachers' employer TSC.
It can be revealed that Duale is a registered teacher of Economics and History.
The vocal MP is a graduate from Eldoret's Moi University having pursued Bachelor's degree in Education Arts (Economics and History).
While working for the TSC, Duale first began his career as a graduate teacher in the year 1992, teaching at Sankuri High School.
Barely two terms at the profession, he ditched teaching for greener pasture at the Garissa Provincial Commissioner’s office working as a clerk.
Six months later, he also resigned from the clerical job to venture into business before joining Kenya Broadcasting Corporation in 1999 as its director.
