Recently, President Uhuru Kenyatta visited deputy William Ruto at his office in Harambe House Annex that led to a lot of 'excitement'.

Many have speculated about the agenda of the meeting that came as a surprise.

Renowned political analyst and the University of Nairobi Lecturer Prof Herman Manyora, through his YouTube channel, opines that the suggestion by The Senate Minority leader James Orengo pertaining DP Ruto impeachment made Uhuru take the decision to visit Ruto.

"What informed this decision(Uhuru visiting Ruto) was Orengo impeachment issue. Perhaps the President felt things have gotten to a point where he had to reassure his deputy that things were not as bad as indeed they were appearing, and perhaps Orengo did not have Raila's blessing," said Prof Manyora.

Manyora further said the attacks from the 'Ruto side' that have been almost directly been towards the President by the Junior politicians in Ruto camps may have been part of the reason for the visit.

He suggests that the President had to assure Ruto that his insistence on the fight against  Corruption was not a fight against him(DP Ruto).
