Businessman cum-politician Don Bosco Gichana who was released after close to 6 years of detention in Tanzania is expected to make a grand return to his rural home in Rikenye, Marani Kisii County on 26th October 2018.
The youthful influential politician will be attending his mothers memorial mass and later hold a mega rally at Kisii town to appreciate those who relentlessly rallied for his release while in Jail.
"My brothers and sisters, I can’t wait to see you all on the 26th at home in Rikenye, Marani for my mom's memorial mass cum homecoming. Later, I will have an appreciation and homecoming rally to meet and mix with the masses who largely fought for my release relentlessly," He posted on Facebook.
However, Bosco has expressed doubts about accessing the recently renovated classic Gusii stadium for his mega homecoming rally urging his supporters to help him in prayer for a venue.
"I am running into HEADWINDS in getting a venue. Let us get back to prayer so that God can intervene for us to get a venue. The agenda is as strictly as outlined above. I know our good leaders of Kisii County will pave way for you to host me at Gusii Stadium," He said.
The businessman who has thanked his supporters who prayed with him while in custody has strictly said that his rally will only focus on thanksgiving and not politics.
"On that day, please allow yourselves to receive my undivided and heartfelt appreciation, truly from the bottom of my heart. Your prayers, above all, have been answered by the almighty God. Our God Who never lets us down. Remember God's time is the best time," He posted.
All eyes are now focusing on the County Government of Kisii to see if they will pave way for his peaceful thanksgiving rally.
