Malindi Member of Parliament Aisha Jumwa has assured Kenyans that come 2022, President Uhuru Kenyatta will pick on deputy president William Ruto.
The ODM lawmaker said Uhuru is only waiting for the right time for him to keep the promises they made to each other when they deiced to partner with DP Ruto in 2013.
Speaking on Sunday service at AIPCA Church, Makadara in Nairobi, Jumwa said the President is currently focused on Big 4 agenda and thereafter he will speak in support of DP Ruto.
"We were watching television and we head the President say he was to serve 2 terms each 5 years and then let in Ruto to sever the exact period which starts from 2022-2032. Have you heart Uhuru contradicting his sentiments?. My faith and instincts tell me the President will pick on Ruto to keep his promises," said Aisha Jumwa.
It is alleged that President Uhuru and his DP William Ruto had a mutual agreement that each one of them to serve as the President of the Republic of Kenya for two terms.
However, the recent 'mess' in Jubilee party has left many Kenyans with so many unanswered questions whether the deal between Uhuru and Ruto is still intact.
