Known as one of the most vocal legislators in the country,  Garissa Township MP Aden Duale has gone mute over the last few days,  a complete divorce from the Duale of the past.

At his  best, Duale, who is also the National Assembly Majority Leader, is known by his critics as the DP's 'attack dog'.

But today,  the lawmaker who is at the center of the Jubilee government may have opted for silence as a political strategy.

With some MPs allied to Ruto recently taking Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho, a key ODM leader Raila Odinga ally,  head on over alleged 'dirty deals', Duale has kept of the debate.

Is it a new political tactic?

Duale who is a key cog in Ruto's 2022 presidential election winning machine, may have changed his approach to politics not to spoil the party for his boss.

Will the strategy work?

Being a mature politician now,  Duale knows how to play his game.

At the heart of Kenya politics, the former Dujis MP is finally a politician who makes politics happen.
