Duale says it is too early for elected leaders to engage in 2022 political campaigns.

Speaking at the NEP College of Health Sciences in Garissa Town on Saturday, Duale urged leaders to put energy in serving their electorate instead of engaging in endless debates.

Duale said Kenyans are yearning for services that their elected leaders must give.

“It is unfortunate that majority of elected leaders have been consumed by the 2022 succession politics wave and have forgotten on their duties and promises to Kenyans,” he said.

The Garissa MP stated that time for campaigns and lobbying for seats in 2022 will come, adding that elected leaders must devote themselves to service delivery.

Duale said the division being created by early 2022 succession politics could hinder the Jubilee government's development agenda.

He asked Kenyans to demand services from their elected leaders.

The Garissa MP promised to deliver on the promises he made to residents.

Duale said that he has lined up key projects for the Garissa people in collaboration with the county government and other stakeholders.

The MP cited health, education, security and the empowerment of marginalised groups as areas of his focus.
