Angry locals while speaking at Suneka on Friday evening claimed that Mr Opore is desperate after he lost the 2017 polls.

"It is shameful for Mr Opore to continue trespassing and going around the constituency to inspect projects that he claims to have initiated while he was the sitting MP. I wish to tell him that he will admire the seat but no one is going to elect him to come 2022," said ‎Cliff Osore.

Duncan Mokua said Bonchari residents elected John Oyioka as MP.

"Opore should no there is no leadership vacuum in Bonchari. Let him give Oyioka humble time to deliver. The ex-MP should stop bringing trouble in Bonchari inspecting projects yet for the 15 years he served as Bonchari MP we didn't see any tangible development," said Mokua.

Josephat Mogaka urged Opore to stop wasting his precious time going around the constituency.

"Opore is trying to remain relevant but, my humble advise to him is that he should concentrate on the management of Kenya Institute of Mass Communication where he was appointed as a board member," said Mogaka.
