Kisii County Governor James Ongwae on Wednesday met with Kisii County commissioner Godfrey Kigochi.
During the meeting, a raft of issues including security and development we discussed.
Ongwae assured Kigochi that his administrations are committed to accord the security agencies necessary support for the purpose of ensuring the safety of the people and their property.
"My government is working closely with National government Agencies based in Kisii to help enhance public service delivery. Kigochi should be assured of the county support while discharging his daily duties," said the governor.
The ODM allied governor dismissed claims that his administration is not pleased with the way police officers in the county are operating.
He insisted that locals should maintain a good relationship with the security officers for the sake of curbing crime.
"I wish to call upon members of the public to maintain cordial working relations so that curb increased cases of crime in the region," he added.
Ongwae pleaded with Kigochi to ensure police officers are intensifying security patrols more especially at night during this festive season.
