Kisumu Girls High School has been closed indefinitely after students went on rampage and destroyed property.
Reports indicate that the students went on rampage last night complaining of the poor management at the school.
The school management was forced to send the students home today morning to allow for investigation into the matter.
According to the County Director of Education Sabina Aroni, the rampage could have resulted from issues of entertainment in the school.
"From what we gathered the girls' complaints touched on entertainment and freedom of worship," Ms Aroni said as quoted by Nation.
Police have been called to restore order, and students directed to leave the school, until further communication is delivered to them.
