A man of God in Busia County has said he will not register for the Huduma Namba come what may.
Pastor Peter Lungekhe said he, together with his followers, has been forced to leave Kenya as they cannot register for the number terming it satanic.
Despite several government officials including President Uhuru Kenyatta telling off those spreading conspiracy theories about the National Integrated Identity Management System (NIIMS), Lungekhe hears none of it.
“Even if you take me to President Uhuru Kenyatta I will tell him that I will not register for Huduma Namba. I don’t want anything to do with Huduma Namba. I am an avid follower of the bible which prophesied this as the end of times,” the Daily Nation quoted the pastor saying.
The preacher said no amount of government pressure would see him register for the number and has instead chosen to flee the country to avoid it.
“I have already bid my family and told them if we will meet again it’s alright but if we won’t meet again it’s also okay. Even the bible says Peter was prosecuted for preaching the truth and for that matter I am ready,” Lungekhe said.
