Sources hint that the two were offloaded from government over alleged disloyalty to Mr Obado, who is facing two murder charges and an additional illegal possession of firearms.

While Obado's men campaigned for Eddy Oketch in senatorial by-election, the two officials are said to have backed ODM candidate Ochillo Ayacko, the eventual winner.

Mr Obado differed with his ODM party when Ayacko was awarded ticket to run for senator, prompting him to back youthful Eddy Oketch, who narrowly lost the election.

On Monday, Obado held a closed-door meeting with purported ODM delegates, a move which was dismissed by the party headquarters.

Lately, Mr Obado has openly defied Raila Odinga and has publicly accused him of allegedly orchastrating his tribulations.

Raila's team led by Suna East MP Junet Mohammed has often accused the county boss of unfairly dragging Mr Odinga to his woes.
