Atwoli while in Mombasa over the weekend said that Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho will be part of the next government and that DP Ruto will not be in the ballot.

Irked by this statement, Keter turned on his Facebook page on Monday and pinned down the COTU boss saying his utterances are unbecoming given his age.

“This chap is very old but his utterances are childish, said Keter adding that "We allow him to defend own relatives but should keep off H.E Deputy President. He is not God to predict anybody's destiny."

The nominated MP added that Atwoli should guard his tongue because he represents workers from all political divides.

"This head should remind him that he represents workers from all political divides. He needs to style up before we teach him," Keter said.

Ruto too reacted to Atwoli's sentiments on Sunday, at Salvation Army Citadel in Kakamega, saying that naysayers need prayers.
