The National Resistance Movement (NRM) self- declared General Miguna Miguna has now come out to argue President Uhuru Kenyatta to declare Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga as the Jubilee National Coalition's 2022 presidential candidate.
In a message seen of his twitter handle, Miguna, who got himself deported twice early last year for taking part in the illegal swearing in of Raila Odinga as the “People’s President,” wanted the President declare Raila as his successor for the sake of unity in the country.
“Joseph Kabila's dictatorial memo to Kenya's tyrant, @UKenyatta: Publicly and loudly proclaim that Jubilee National Coalition's 2022 candidate is @RailaOdinga. However, massively rig the election for @MoiGideon and declare that "Moi, too, is a Kenyan. We need unity!" posted the exiled Lawyer, Miguna Miguna.
According to Miguna, President Uhuru should do the same thing that Joseph Kabila of Congo did. He should front someone else to run for presidency for the sake of peace but later on rig in another candidate, Baringo Senator Gideon Moi to cling the top seat.
Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta came together in March last year. They made peace in the famous handshake and the duo has since been moving across the country spreading unity under the Building Bridges Initiative.
Uhuru who promised to support DP Ruto in the 2022 elections has since been silent on this matter. He has not publicity declared his support for anyone.
