Moi University Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof. Isaac Kosgey has promised that he will not miss the institutions' cultural week event that comes to an end on Friday.
This will mark the climax of the annual event that began on Monday.
The VC attended the event being held at the Kesses-based student's centre and was impressed by the performances.
"I am happy on how different cultural groups have presented themselves. There will be an award for best performing group. I will not miss the climax event for Mr and Mrs Culture," the VC told students and participants.
The one-week event has seen several groups present their cultural songs and cultural food. It has so far been a colourful and entertaining experience as attested to by some students at the university.
"This was the best event I have ever seen here. I learned a lot and hoping to learn more", Pracious Jebet, a 3rd-year student said.
Kisii cultural community students made their best by their Okwaroka traditional dance. Much was seen when they presented their traditional food.
Samburu dancers enjoyed the presentation as the VC joined them.
Other cultural dancers that marked the day colourful were; Luo dancers from Nyanza region, Marakwet dances from Elgeiyo Marakwet county and Coast dancers from the Coast region.
