Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz may not move from Tanzania to Nairobi after all.
This is after it appeared that the artiste together with other banned musician Rayvanny’s began to get audience from the Tanzanian government.
The duo performed “Mwanza” which was earlier banned by BASATA.
Diamond also resorted to making spirited apologies to the government in what might see him pardoned and stop his highly publicised relocation to Nairobi.
Though Instagram, Diamond revealed a softening of his hard stand and said he regretted performing the controversial 'Mwanza' song.
“Japo tunajitahidi kuwa vijana wa mfano bora kwenye Taifa letu, lakini kama tulivyoumbwa binadam hatuwezi kupatia siku zote, lazma itatokea siku tutateleza tu….Ila Utelezapo, ni vyema kulijua Kosa na Kulirekebisha ili kesho na Kesho kutwa lisijirudie….Inshaallah Mwenyez Mungu Atusimamie na kutuongezea Juhudi na Maarifa katika Kazi zetu ili kwa Pamoja tuzidi kuukuza Muziki wetu na Kuendelea Kuiwakilisha vyema na kulipa sifa Nzuri na Heshima Nchi yetu….Tuseme Amin…...”
