Three of suspects arrested in connection with Sharon Otieno death spent entire day with main suspect Michael Oyamo at Awendo, telecommunication details have revealed.
Mr. Oyamo, an aide to Governor Okoth Obado, was detained by the police after journalist Barack Oduor adversely mentioned him in the mysterious abduction and subsequent murder of Sharon.
Migori County clerk Caspal Obiero, driver Jackson Otieno and Obado's bodyguard Elvis Omondi, both who have been seized by the police, are said to have acted in cohorts to execute the slain student, who was expecting Obado's baby.
Mr. Obiero surrendered to the police at Oyugis after his vehicle, registered in his wife's name, was linked to abduction of Sharon and Mr. Oduor during the fateful day.
And Mr. Otieno, the driver believed to be operating the vehicle, had been nabbed earlier after the vehicle went missing hours after the mysterious murder.
The third suspect, Mr. Omondi, who was earlier arrested for causing commotion outside Oyugis Police, was arrested after it emerged that he spent the day with prime suspects. He's a police officer attached to Governor Obado.
Detectives have established that Sharon Otieno was carrying Governor Obado's baby thus even complicating the ongoing investigations since the governor is now a center of interest.
Also, it emerged that a week before Sharon's murder, she'd travelled to Nairobi along with journalist Barack Oduor with their mission remaining mysterious until now.
