It is more trouble for Governor Ali Korane as a team of his bitter rivals vow to renew the fight over the politician's alleged fake academic credentials.
Led by Salmaan Takaful, the team now says they will finalise a battle initiated by Idris Muktar before he was brutally shot by gunmen thought to have been hired by Korane.
Speaking to this writer on Sunday, the team comprised of five individuals said they were in the process of compiling all their evidence before they head to the courts to challenge the questionable documents held by the governor.
"The course to regain Garissa county from the jaws of the deadly scavenger is set to reignite. We shall never relent, sooner or later the truth shall find itself to the public domain," stated Salmaan, the team's spokesperson.
The new move comes at a time when Korane is still struggling to clean his name after being adversely named in the shooting case involving the former county finance CEC.
