ODM leader Raila Odinga on Friday lauded Chief Justice David Maraga's humility and kindness by giving him heroic reception in Borabu.
In a rare incident, Raila, who had resumed his seat during Ndemo Nyagarama's burial, rose and ushered in the CJ as he guided him to a preserved seat.
The two would be seen having light moments along with Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama, who was their hosts.
"I am happy that we have a humble Chief Justice in the country. I pray that we support him as he initiates radical surgery in the judicial system.
"I must admit that God must have thought twice when he gave us this humble servant," said Raila as he showered the CJ with praises.
During most ODM events, it is unsual to see Raila ushering in leaders, reasons the Nyansiongo event was 'special'.
Last year, Maraga presided over the Supreme Court bench that nullified President Uhuru Kenyatta's victory after Raila launched a petition.
