A bus heading to Nairobi from Mandera has been involved in an accident at Tarbaj area just minutes before 7 pm on Saturday evening.

The Makkah bus is said to have lost control and veered off the road. 

However, no deaths have been reported. 

Ambulances from Wajir have since been dispatched to the scene. 

The Mandera-Nairobi has in the past been listed among black-spot roads that have witnessed significant number of accidents.

The Makkah bus accident happens barely hours after another tragic Friday incident involving a lorry and two other vehicles at Duka Moja trading center in Narok county where six people perished.
