While speaking during an interview on Citizen TV, Kitutu Chache MP Richard Onyonka hinted that the Ford Kenya leader could be on his way to Jubilee Party.

According to the lawmaker who was elected on a Ford Kenya ticket, Wetangula who was removed from his Senate Minority leader position feels let down by his former allies in the NASA coalition and his keen to chart his own political path.

"My party leader in Ford Kenya feels let down. Moses Wetangula's options are open, including the option of going to the other side," said the legislator.

While casting doubts on the future of NASA, Onyonka said that as it stands, there is no opposition in Kenya adding that that role has been taken over by the media.

" The opposition as it were, is now dead. The media seems to have taken over that role," he added.

Since his ouster from his Parliamentary position, Wetangula who promised a 'messy and noisy' political divorce with Raila has maintained an uncharacteristically low political profile, perhaps strategising on his next move.
