Appearing on behalf of Kisii Members of County Assembly (MCAs), the lawyer and his clients won an application in which the members sought to have some standing orders scrapped.

In a tweet after the major victory, Amollo said that the group had been barred from initiating and voting on specific bills and motions in the Kisii County Assembly.

He maintained that all members deserve equality in the house, expressing relief that the discriminative rule is no longer in place.

"Was a Pleasure Appearing on behalf of Kisii County Nominated MCAs. The High Court In Kisumu today Quashed Standing Orders which had barred the MCAs from Initiating and Voting on Some Bills and Motions. All MCAs, however, elected, must be similarly treated," he tweeted.

This comes barely a months after he again successfully co-presented Homa Bay Governor Cyprian Awiti and secured a win at the Supreme Court.

Working closely with Siaya Senator James Orengo, the team managed to convince the court to annul an initial ruling by the lower appellate court which had disapproved Awiti's August reelection.

Awiti's reelection had been petitioned by his main rival in the race and former Kasipul Kabondo Member of Parliament Oyugi Magwanga who appeared second in the tight race.
