Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria come out guns blazing and warned politicians accusing Orange Democratic Party leader Raila Odinga over the divisions in the Jubilee Party to shun away from such 'baseless' allegations.
The legislator said top powerful politicians in the Jubilee party should be blamed for the woes in the ruling outfit.
In a Facebook post, the Jubilee legislator absolved Raila from the allegations being peddled by a faction of the Jubilee leaders.
"I have also noted the recent claims that the Raila Odinga is breaking or dividing the jubilee party. I would like to absolve my very good friend Raila Odinga from those baseless accusations. It is not Raila who is wrecking the jubilee party. It is extremely senior and fearfully powerful forces within Jubilee party who have decided that jubilee as currently constituted is inimical to some devious designs and it must be disbanded," he posted.
Kuria who declared to vie for the presidency in the next polls, on Saturday accompanied Raila to a funds drive in Wajir for the construction of Madarasa. The event raised Sh59 million was raised.
As the 2022 politics continue taking shape, sharp divisions and exchange of words between the Deputy President William Ruto's camp and ODM have been simmering with Kuria defending Odinga for his good motive for the country.
