The awards will be contested in a total of 13 categories during the Annual Gala.

However, a lot of talk around the nomination has been sparked, with many questioning the nomination process.

Despite K'Ogalo dominating the last campaign that saw Dylan Kerr retain the league title, only Haron Shakava, Joash Onyango and Jacques Tuyisenge made it to the nomination list.

Onyango and Shakava will fight it out for the Defender of the Year award while Tuyisenge, having scored 15 league goals last season, has been nominated for the already grabbed Golden Boot Award.
