Ahmednasir made the remark while making reference to an article on the Standard titled, "Macron warns of Chinese risk to African Sovereignty."

The Senior Counsel expressed his opinion on Twitter and has so far been supported by Kenyans who think the France President sentiments are a case of the pot calling kettle black.

In addition, they indicated that the same interests the Chinese have in Africa are what France is interested in on the continent.

France has been accused of controlling the economy of West African Nations such as Nigeria as they import maize from France.

Hence dubbing France as jealous of Chinese as they are coming to sign French loans and yet he is warning us about Chinese loans.

President Macron arrived in the country Wednesday afternoon and headed to the state house for bilateral talks with President Uhuru. This is his first ever visit to Kenya and he will be in the country for two days.

According to an article by Nation, Kenya and France have been negotiating other deals on energy projects plants, health programmes and the Big Four Agenda on food Security, universal health coverage, affordable housing and manufacturing.

The article further indicated that no official confirmation had been made yet on whether the deals will be signed but a briefing revealed the agreements were ready.

"I thank the Government and the People of France for partnering with us in enhancing the transport system in Nairobi. Together we shall build quality, resilient and sustainable infrastructure that will meet the needs of the current and future generations," President Uhuru stated when he received Macron on Wednesday.
