Renowned actress and radio personality Jacque Nyaminde ,better known by her on stage moniker Wilbroda, has weighed in on the very public spat between Nairobi Woman Rep Esther Passaris and Governor Mike Sonko.
Speaking Friday night on NTV, Wilbroda appeared to suggest that there could have been a better way of resolving issues between the two Nairobi County leaders.
The former Papa Shirandula actress warned that a poor working relationship between the woman rep and the governor would make it difficult for services to be delivered to the people of Nairobi.
"This is not just about Sonko embarrassing a woman. They are colleagues first of all. How do they work together if they are throwing words at each other like that.
"For Nairobi County to work they need each other... Instead of embarrassing me publicly you can call me and tell me that what I did was not good ," Wilbroda said.
Governor Sonko Wednesday night subjected the Woman Rep to a vicious dress-down in a Facebook Livestream at City Hall after being hounded out of JKL Live on Citizen Television.
He claimed that Passaris had been sent to attack him after being paid handsomely by his political detractors.
Passaris has since accused Sonko of engaging in social media theatrics.
The tiff has been subject to debate on social media platforms.
