Scores flock to his business because his services are the cheapest in town.

Hajj ventured into the business where he began to work at his neighbour's Kinyozi imediately after he finished high school before moving to Garissa town.

His neighbour identified as Sheriff Abdallah, employed Hajj to help him since he had no one to help him shave his customers but this was an opportunity for Hajj to get money.

"I, therefore, used this opportunity to save a little amount of money daily since I hoped to open my own Kinyozi in future," Hajj said.

After six months of shaving, Hajj had saved enough money to enable him to buy his own shaving machine and a big mirror.

He moved to Garissa town where his Aunt Alice, gave him a small square room in which he opened a Kinyozi and named it Hajj Styles Kinyozi.

"I always shave people depending on styles they want and sometimes age, I usually shave students at sh30 but those who are younger at sh20, for any kind of style at sh40 up to 50,"Hajj said.

"My daily earnings are sh2,000 and sometimes I may earn up to sh3,500 daily," Hajj said.

"I eventually bought another machine and 'rotating chair', and employed Mark Omondi for the business to be efficient," Hajj said.

Hajj has encountered challenges like that of the breakdown of the machine but he said that he still enjoys his job.

"With the earnings, am able to cater for my daily expenses and save little," Hajj said.
