The Kenya National Union of Teachers has ordered teachers transferred not to report to their news station.
While giving the order on Tuesday, Secretary General Wilson Sossion said that the planned Wednesday strike is still on.
His statement comes after the Teachers Service Commission failed to turn up for a conciliation meeting with the giant union.
Sossion accused TSC of approaching the matter in bad faith.
KNUT is pushing for the promotion of 30, 000 teachers who have attained the necessary qualifications to move to the next level of employment.
This comes after the court halted the strike calling on KNUT to hold talks with TSC.
However, Sossion has vowed to defy the order and proceed with the strike until the employer gives in.
