According to impeccable sources, Uhuru was in a meeting at State House with Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu.

Wambugu has been the face of Ruto’s anti-2022 deal faction.

Details of the meeting remain scanty but sources said the MP was leading a delegation of elected leaders from Nyeri County.

Among those who attended the meeting are the six Nyeri MPs, Women Representative, Senator, Deputy Governor Carol Karugu and Governor Mutahi Kahiga.

Ngunjiri has been leading a faction calling itself the Kitaeleweka which is apparently an outfit patched to oppose Ruto’s 2022 bid.

He has been at loggerheads with Ruto’s allies who are coalescing around another wing dubbing itself the Tangatanga.

The Tuesday meeting has however left political pundits curious as Uhuru has not made a mention about it even on his social media pages where he is always fond of updating his fans on his daily activities.
