A video of an Asian woman accusing Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris for grabbing her land emerged online on weekend and has gone viral.
In the video which is making rounds on social media, the woman Alka Roshanlal Hanspal who claimed she is a widow claimed that Passaris grabbed her property worth millions of shillings at Kitisuru within Nairobi County.
A section of Kenyans on Twitter has forced the Nairobi Woman Rep to break the silence over the allegations made against her.
"Can you please hear the cry of that widow and return her property. You are a woman rep who should protect her rights not Infringe her rights," a Twitter user Dr Brian Toel posted.
Reacting to the tweet, Passaris said she was not supposed to comment to the allegations because the matter was in court.
She, however, noted that the woman claiming the property was wrongly advised by her legal advisers.
"This matter is in court & I shall not comment on it. I however ask that you read between the lines..... Harrison Kinyanjui her lawyer has shamefully misguided & misused her for the benefit of another infamous client," Passaris replied to the tweet.
Speaking in Mombasa over the weekend, the alleged asked authorities to come in and help her secure her property from the Woman Rep.
"I am calling upon the IG, DCI, CJ, Mr, Maraga, DPP, or anyone who is in authority to try and get me justice, at least now."The image that she is portraying is not hers, she is not a nice person, and most of all, I don't think she should be representing women in this county," said Alka Roshanlal Hanspal in a video shared on Facebook.
