Legendary benga musician Joseph Kamaru was laid to rest in his Murang'a home on Thursday.
The funeral ceremony was filled with light moments but it was his sister Catherine Gathoni aka Celine who stole the show.
Celina almost brought the ceremony to a standstill when she was accorded a chance to greet President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto.
She captured the attention of those in attendance after she gave the Head of State a motherly hug and proceeded to give him a high five, which left mourners in stitches.
As she was heading back to her seat, President Uhuru signalled her back and the two could be seen enjoying a light moment. At one point, she whispered something into the President's ear, causing him to burst out laughing.
During his speech, Uhuru amused the mourners when he revealed that he had met Celina, his childhood friend, and asked her for a soda.
Celina, who got the name after featuring in one of Kamaru's songs titled 'Celina Hingura Murango', met Uhuru when he was a young boy as she used to accompany her late brother to entertain the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta.
“Celina was reminding me that I used to give them sodas when they came home. Now I have told her it is her time to give me a soda today,” said Uhuru.
The video of Uhuru's light moment with Celina was widely shared on different social media platforms, eliciting different reactions among Kenyans.
Here are some of the reactions posted on the United States of Kiambu Facebook group.
