Speaking on Wednesday, Kisila said that the school has been performing poorly due to insufficient teachers.

He observed that it's appalling for such a school to have just four teachers. Kisila said he will visit TSC offices in Machakos and stay there until his demands are met.

"Kavunyu Primary School has been the worst performing school not only in the sub-county but the whole county and the reason is that there are few teachers," said Kisila.

"Mr.David Mukui (Machakos TSC Director) please, I need teachers brought to this school and if I won't get them, I will come to your office and stay there wearing a tracksuit until you give me what I need," he added.

He said the four teachers in the school are overwhelmed and are unable to serve all students.

Kisila spoke when he visited the school to donate food and books which were given by the school's alumni.
