Former Harambee stars striker Dennis Oliech is yet to be the highest paid footballer in the Kenya Premier Legue.
The player who has been training with KPL champions impressed Gor Mahia's coach Hassan Oktay has signed him into the team.
Dennis will be smiling his way into Gor Mahia after he landed a Sh. 3 million transfer fee with an added monthly salary of Sh.350,000 which opposition leader Raila Odinga and club patron are ready to pay.
Hassan Oktay believes his side has been unlucky in front of goal to convert many chances they have been creating each game. But this is set to be overdone by the new signing of Dennis Oliech.
He is to play his first match under Gor-mahia against Posta Rangers on January 9, 2019 in Kisumu.
Reports also say that he is set to play against Mathare United over the weekend at the Kasarani stadium.
“I have trained twice with Gor Mahia and it turned out perfectly. I am happy that the coach has agreed to sign me and I promise to give him my best,” he said.
Oliech went on to state that; "It is very clear there has been a striker problem and therefore the pressure will be me to perform. I am up to the task and promise to deliver.”
