Wa Muchomba said anyone implicated in the business woman's murder must be brought to book despite the positions they hold in society.

Speaking to journalists in Kiambu Town on Tuesday, Wa Muchomba said that just like in Sharon Otieno’s murder case, killers of Kimani should be hunted down and smoked out.

“Detectives should hunt down all the people who planned and participated in the murder for the 28-year-old business woman,” she said.

Wa Muchomba said that it is painful that the country is losing young energetic Kenyans.

She said that unless a clear message is sent out to the culprits that they have no right to kill, such cases will remain on the rise.

The MP asked women and more so university girls to be careful with the people they fall in love with.

She said that some people pretend to be good while in real sense they are dangerous criminals.

Kimani was found murdered at her apartment in Kilimani two weeks ago.

The businesswoman was buried on Friday last week at their family home in Gilgil.

Police are holding two key suspects Joseph Irungu and Jacque Maribe in connection to the murder.
