Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Onyonka has claimed that the ongoing graft war is a result of NASA leader Raila Odinga who is advising President Uhuru Kenyatta.
According to Onyonka, the handshake between Raila and Mr Kenyatta is working well something that has worried DP Ruto and his close allies.
"Since the handshake took place we have been witnessing a series of arrests where people are being nabbed for misusing public resources. I want to state that this is because Raila is advising the Head of State well," he noted.
He warned DP Ruto and his allies against fighting the handshake saying no one will break the bond between the former Prime Minister and Mr Kenyatta.
"Ruto is worried because the handshake is working well for Kenyans. He must accept the handshake and stop engaging in dubious dealings for the sake of remaining relevant in the country's politics," he added.
The vocal lawmaker urged DP Ruto to stop using his close allies to criticize Raila over the graft war.
"Raila is the opposition leader who must be respected. Ruto's allies should stop insulting him because the loopholes of corruption are being sealed," said Onyonka.
